18 Center Street 29439,
Great coffee wonderful service!! Very recommend!
Place is nice. Only had their cold brew and it was okay (nothing outstanding). Prices are high and they charge for everything. Large Cold Brew was $5.50. I asked for a pump of sweetner after I already paid and I was told I would have to pay $0.50 for it.
Amazing coffee and wonderful people!
Friendly, fast, tasty. What more do you need in a coffee shop? Fantastic pastries, too.
Cute location and friendly staff, their coffee may be fine but I ordered a chai tea latte and there was literally no tea in it. It was a few pumps of chai spice syrup and milk. So, stick to coffee and you'll probably be fine.
visited over st. pattys weekend...awesome coffee...definitely recommend.
If you appreciate espresso and good coffee in general, then I think this may be your only choice in the Center street area. Fyi, I'm pretty sure there are no baristas working in this area. Having a extra nice espresso machine and not knowing how to use it pretty much guarantees extra nasty espresso... (I.e. Lost Dog). CSC looses one star for the slightly anemic atmosphere but if you want a staff that cares and to relax in peace at the bar and wake up sipping a decently good machine-made espresso (thanks to CSC using super automatic espresso machines thereby eliminating human incompetence/error), this is your best bet.
We got a mocha with coconut milk, but it didn't taste like coffee, chocolate, or coconut.
What a great find. Service was excellent, and I was really happy that they don't make drip coffee, only expresso brews. Since I drink decaf it was a fantastic decaf Americana. They have some really cool seating out back, nothing special and kind of rough, but really quiet and fun. Also, all of the scones and other pastries there are made locally and fantastic. Will definitely come again.
I did not have a good experience at all. I brought 15.00 dollars with me thinking that was enough. It was15.21 for 3 coffees. I was short 21 cents. I thought she would let the 21 cents go but she just said the cash register wouldn't let her do it. I ended up just getting 2 coffees. I should have walked out. The girl had no personality and was not friendly at all. It's sad that someone won't spot you 21 cents. I would have given someone 21 cents.
The tastiest Cinnamon latte I've ever had! The worker there was friendly and quickly completed our order.. the little shop was so cute and clean.
Good coffee and pastries but everything over priced. $20 for 2 coffees and 2 pastries. Prices displayed dishonestly - large American coffee advertised at $2.99 (too high) then without notifying us, added $1.69 for large size. With tax, almost $5.00 for a paper cup of coffee. Will not be going back.
Turkish coffee is always a win. Needs better people flow
Barista was unfriendly and very clearly unhappy to be at work at 9 am. Coffee and pastries were just okay. If you're looking for a quick coffee on follys I recommend black magic.
We kept coming back here for coffee and croissants. Both were amazing!
Quite a pricey place. A small Americano is $3 (it is definitely a small cup) and pastries are $4-$7 each! Muffin was so dry I literally fed it to the birds. They also charge an additional 3% on top of their high prices just for using a debit card. It is a cute place but it is overpriced.
The latte was delicious but all I really wanted was a hot, black coffee. And they only serve cold brew coffee. Very confused how the place can have “coffee†in the name but not actually serve coffee. There were coffee beans for sale, but no coffee. So confused.
My absolute favorite coffee shop. Their iced caramel macchiato is to die for and the barista knows my order by heart. Great friendly staff and great quality coffee. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee on Folly Beach!
Cold coffee was very disappointed but my cream cheese croissant was good
Excellent coffee and chai latte.
To the smart a$$ lady last night who said all coffee is foreign grown and not in the United States. Hawaii is producer along with Puerto Rico, even though PR is a U.S. territory. However, it's a great coffee shop and the Turkish coffee is crazy good!
Delicious cold brew
Overpriced and horrible service... I got a bagel with cream cheese, croissant, iced coffee and iced tea and it was almost $20.. which is fine, we’re at folly, but the the service should be top notch too, but wasn’t. When I was ordering I felt rushed. She kept giving me the total after EACH ITEM, then acted annoyed when I asked a question or when I requested cream and sugar and informed me it was self serve. The food was was okay, which is why I did 2 stars. Maybe since they deal with tourist, but that’s just no way to treat people who are supporting your business.
The coffee was good but overpriced, the almond croissant was old enough to have kids and tough like an old boot.
She stated she would need to taste all of the wines that were open to make sure they were still fresh. Ummmmmm...... if you aren’t sure then get rid of them and open new bottles. The whole time she huffed and puffed about it then dropped a bottle and looked at me and threw up her hands at me like it wasn’t fault for asking for a glass of wine at a place that serves wine. We had ordered an espresso to start and were just trying to enjoy our night.... nope no thanks. Sad thing is we live here and usually like that spot.
The cutest little coffee shop with amazing pastries. It’s a nice change of pace from the surrounding bars on Center Street! Super trendy, with multiple outdoor tables.
Center Street Coffee in Folly Beach is a great place to get a really good coffee and much more. The location in the middle of everything on Folly is really convenient when you are at the beach and need something to drink or eat. They have a really good selection of different items and I like all of the options that they have available. Center Street Coffee has come through many times when I needed them and I have been happy with my order every time.
Order red wine for 2. Served in two 4oz champagne flutes. As the normal pour is 5oz, my wife and I requested a 2nd pour. The barista said that was their normal pour. Our own fault for ordering wine at a coffee shop. Stick with the coffee and the scones. It’s their 2star saving grace.
Have a really good iced caramel latte
Excellent! Macchiato and latte heaven. 🌟☕ï¸
Coffee and service were great! We were at Folly for a long weekend and went every day we were there. Was impressed by the quality of coffee for a more touristy area. Definitely recommend it!
The menu for the drinks and pastries is wide and each bit and sip was delicious! The place is also super cozy and welcoming! Thank you! <3
Great place for all your favorite coffees, pastries, various cold drinks, and wines within a short 2 block walk from the Folly Beach pier. Limited two person sidewalk seating is perfect for people watching the eclectic Folly crowds.
Great spot to grab a delicious espresso & pastry to start your morning in the very relaxing town of Folly Beach. Fast WiFi so I was able to get a little work done before enjoying the rest of my day.
Some of the best cold brew I've ever had, owner wouldn't tell us the secret though.
Yummy vittles and treats tourists great. I enjoyed their Turkish Coffee, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, turkey and cheese croissant (see the pattern...ha ha)
Very disappointed by the pastries. They were stale and dry. The chocolate chip scone was not good, the blueberry was a little better. They do not make their own pastries. They do make their own cookies and those were good. The espresso machiato was good too
We had the latte and iced latte a couple of times. Great coffee! And a nice selection of sugar free syrups. We didn't try any pastries.
Friendly helpful young lady serving. Good selection of coffee and yea. Nice breakfast goodies with excellent Danish. No wifi so could do better
Cute place and love the chai latte
Great service and amazing selection of pastries and cute vibes- the cheese danish is delicious.
A somewhat pretentious coffee shop with pretty average coffee. Their cold brew is on par with what you'd find at a fast food restaurant, but a little more watered down. The pricing is comparable to similar locations. The t-shirts are fairly priced. But if you're just looking for a standard cup of coffee you should know that, as their barista said, they "don't do drip coffee here".
Decent coffee place. I wish they have a little more variety in roasts offered, but the americano I had was delicious.
Cozy little coffee place that make one heck of a legit Turkish coffee.
Cute but no regular coffee... Lattes and Americanos.
I went for an iced Americano and ending up falling in love with the Turkish coffee. The first time I went, I got my usual iced Americano and my friend tried the Turkish coffee (unfiltered coffee with a dash of cardamom and sweetener). I liked it so much I went back a couple days later and got the Turkish. The shop is tiny and no frills. There was only ever one person working so when it gets busy (as it did on my first trip), expect to wait for a little bit. Still, a great little spot on Folly Beach if you're not looking for anything fancy (I'm talking to any person who's ever drank a unicorn frappuccino, this place isn't for you).
Great little coffee shop smiling faces. Street views
I like going to local places, but very overpriced .
Got a wonderful chai latter from here! Great location and super friendly staff. We had a great visit here and enjoyed our drinks. Also ordered caramel frappe which was deemed “better than Starbucksâ€!
Ordered two 12oz coconut milk cappuccinos and they tasted like water with milky froth on top. For $20, definitely not worth it. Either the coffee is old or the barista isn't well trained to make a proper cappuccino. Major let down.
